Managing Director, Gill Shaw is a solicitor, who specialises in employment law and discrimination. She practised in large commercial law firms for 15 years before setting up Buchanan Shaw Consulting Ltd.
Gill works with clients across Scotland, providing employment law advice, HR support, training delivery and mediation services, to assist them to manage and resolve workplace issues.
She lectures at Inverness College, delivering law and discrimination classes and is Programme Leader for the college's CIPD professional qualifications programmes.
Passionate about creativity and people development, Gill:
- chairs the Highlands & Islands Group of the CIPD's North Scotland & Island's Branch
- chairs the Advisory Group Committee of the WEA's Women @ Work project
- is Past-President of Inverness Toastmasters, and VP Education of North Highland Speakers
- is non-executive Director of plan B Collaborative Dance Ltd.
Director Lisa Buchanan is a dynamic leadership and management consultant. With 15 years experience of leading and managing third sector organisations, Lisa has a strong reputation for trouble-shooting the many difficulties faced by organisations in current times of competition for resources and increasing demands on services. She has successfully led a number of change initiatives in her most recent role of Chief Executive at Cantraybridge College, including fundraising, infrastructure and management growth programmes, stakeholder management and a series of capital projects.
Soon to complete her MBA with Strathclyde Business School, Lisa is now applying her skills in a consultancy role so that she can add value to a greater number of organisations across Scotland.
A believer in good governance, Lisa is a member of the Board of Management of North Highland College UHI and Feis Rois Ltd.
When not supporting her clients or volunteering as a non-executive director, she can be found playing the fiddle with friends or hacking around the Scottish countryside with Frankie, her equine companion.
